Data Processing Addendum

Last updated: 6 October 2026

This Data Processing Addendum (“DPA”) forms part of the agreement between Moriny Technologies FZE LLC, a Free Zone Establishment licensed by the Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone Authority under licence no. 4432302.01, Business Centre, Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (“Akary”) and the business customer using Akary (“Customer”), and applies to personal data of Clients and Authorized Users that Akary processes on the Customer’s behalf. It takes effect when the Customer accepts the Terms of Service.

1. Roles

For Client data entered in Akary, the Customer decides the purposes and means of processing (controller) and Akary processes it on the Customer’s behalf (processor), within the meaning of UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021. For its own account, billing and security data, Akary acts as controller under its Privacy Policy.

2. Instructions

Akary processes Customer personal data only to provide the Services as described in the Terms — hosting, displaying and securing it, generating the reports, simulations, reminders and suggestions the Customer uses, providing support — and to comply with law. Akary does not use it for its own purposes, does not sell it and does not use it to train AI models.

3. Confidentiality and security

People authorized by Akary to access personal data are bound by confidentiality. Akary maintains appropriate technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit, authentication, row-level access control by account and role, restricted administrative access, backups and incident procedures.

4. Sub-processors

The Customer authorizes Akary to use the following sub-processors: Supabase (database, authentication, storage), Vercel (hosting, analytics) and Stripe (payments). Akary remains responsible for them and will announce any new sub-processor in advance on this page; the Customer may object by writing to support@akary.ae.

5. International transfers

Sub-processors may process data outside the UAE. Akary relies on their contractual commitments and security safeguards and on the transfer conditions permitted by applicable law.

6. Assistance

Akary helps the Customer, through the app’s features (export, correction, deletion) and on request, to answer requests from individuals and to meet its security and breach-notification obligations.

7. Personal data breaches

Akary notifies the Customer without undue delay after becoming aware of a personal data breach affecting Customer data, with the information available to help the Customer meet its obligations.

8. Return and deletion

The Customer can export its data at any time. After termination, Akary keeps the data for 30 days for export on request, then deletes it from active systems, and from backups in their normal rotation, unless the law requires otherwise.

9. Information and audits

On reasonable request and subject to confidentiality and security, Akary provides the information needed to demonstrate compliance with this DPA.
