Privacy Policy

1. Data we collect

Account data: email address, UAE mobile number if you choose to sign in with it, and your password (stored only in hashed form by our authentication provider).

Profile data: your name, phone, email, website, agency name, logo, colour, RERA numbers, language and currency preferences, and the date you accepted our Terms.

Customer Data you enter: Client names and contact details, budgets and properties of interest, deals and their stages, payment method (cash or financing), the status of buyer documents (received or missing — we do not store the documents themselves), listings, notes, brochures, roadshows and the reports you generate.

Technical data: IP address and basic logs needed for security, anonymous usage statistics (Vercel Analytics, without cookies) and, if you enable them, push-notification subscriptions.

Contact requests: the details you send through the form on our website.

2. How we use it

To provide the Services (your account, reports, simulations, reminders, deal suggestions and team features), keep them secure and prevent misuse, answer you, bill paid plans, meet legal obligations and improve Akary using aggregated statistics. We do not sell personal data, we do not use your Clients’ details for our own marketing and we do not use Customer Data to train AI models.

3. Your Clients’ data

For Client details you enter, you (or your agency) decide what is collected and why, and we act as your processor under our Data Processing Addendum. Your clients remain yours: we never contact them, share them with other users or use them for our own purposes. Please give your Clients any privacy information the law requires.

4. Automated suggestions

Akary shows rule-based suggestions — for example the next step of a deal or deals without recent contact. They support your decisions; Akary takes no automated decision with legal or similar effects on you or your Clients.

5. Who can see it

Only you, and — if you belong to an agency in Akary — your director and managers for the agency’s deals. Reports you share can be opened by anyone who has their link.

Service providers that run Akary for us: Supabase (database, authentication, file storage), Vercel (hosting, analytics), Stripe (payments, once paid plans are active) and your browser’s push service. They may process data outside the UAE; we rely on their contractual and security safeguards. We may also disclose data when required by law.

6. How long we keep it

As long as your account is active. Data you delete, or the data of a closed account, is removed from our active systems within 30 days and from backups in their normal rotation, except what the law requires us to keep (for example invoices).

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you can access, correct, export (Settings › Your data) or delete your data, restrict or object to certain processing and withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Write to support@akary.ae; we may verify your identity and we answer within 30 days. Clients whose details were entered by an agent should contact that agent first; we will assist the agent.

8. Security

Data is encrypted in transit; row-level security ensures each account only reaches its own data; secrets are never stored in the app. No system is perfectly secure: we will notify you of any personal data breach affecting you, as required by law.

9. Cookies and local storage

We only use what is needed to run the app — your sign-in session and preferences such as language or theme, stored in your browser — and cookieless analytics. We use no advertising cookies.

10. Children

Akary is a professional service and is not intended for anyone under 18.

11. Changes

We will publish any update on this page with a new date and announce material changes in the app or by email.
